About Philippa Watts
– Philippa Watts is Senior Programmes Officer (Health) at the Council for Disabled Children (CDC). Her work focuses on supporting a wide range of professionals to improve understanding and practice around working together to achieve positive outcomes for the disabled children and young people they support. She does this through developing and delivering workshops and resources which draw together policy and best practice.
Philippa joined CDC in 2017 as Participation Development Officer, focusing on the strategic participation of disabled children and young people. Prior to this, she worked on and led several children’s voice programmes, including at the international level, as well as supporting individual disabled children in both mainstream and special schools.
