About Anna Chiva

– Anna Chiva is currently working with Achieving for Children, a social enterprise organisation which delivers children’s services to the London Boroughs of Richmond and Kingston. Her current role is Associate Director for SEND, where she’s passionate about creating opportunities for young people and enabling conversations about fostering independence.  

Having worked for a number of local authorities, Anna has always driven to improve outcomes for children and families with SEN. She began her professional journey working in both mainstream and special schools. 

Anna has jointly led on implementing outcome frameworks across organisations such as Mott McDonald and Council for Disabled Children and their partners. She is also part of several steering groups, including the London Strategic Managers Network which is linked with the Association of Directors of Childrens Services.  

Anna has a Masters in Public Services Management and continues her SEND studies through professional training opportunities.
