Headteacher, Justin Price presents an introduction to and information about Social Stories. His session focuses on the idea behind social stories and comic strip conversations and what they can do, when used properly and effectively, to support children and young people with autism to understand the social world.
Justin’s aim is to help participants:
- To consider why social stories are such a helpful tool
- To understand what social stories / articles are (and what they are not!)
- To know where to find more accurate and useful information relating to social stories and how to write them well
